Some of the features and comforts a trip on the Sumdum includes:

Accommodations for eight guests with four staterooms and two full guest baths. Twin 460HP CAT engines give cruise speed of 11 knots; trolling valves enable the optimum speed for salmon fishing. A skiff is provided for running up wilderness rivers, exploring remote fjords, or even water skiing.

Arrangements are easily made for seaplane rendezvous and access to mountain lakes abundant with trout.

An on-board television permits instant video playback of events filmed during the day.

Satellite telephone enables contact with the outside world for emergency or business purposes. Central hot water creates a thermostatic controlled temperature for comfort in all living areas. A hot tub in the after deck provides a remarkable experience during quiet cove anchorages surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Along with fresh provisions stocked for every excursion, meals are planned around the catch of the day. Premium wines from around the world have been sent to Alaska; a well-stocked bar offers a range of beverage choices.

For the upcoming season we are featuring wines from the Southern Hemisphere
with a fine selection of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Shiraz, as well as our regular selection of
California Cabernet and Chardonnay.
